Travel Destinations in Central Bhutan
Central Bhutan usually depicts three main regions such as Zhemgang, Trongsa and Bumthang.
Zhemgang is a district located to centrally south of Bhutan. It is the capital of the sub-region called sacred realms of the three hills, Khengrig Namsum. It is divided into Upper Kheng, Middle Kheng and Lower Kheng. Trongsa is home to the ethnic group pf Monpa, the old inhabitants of Bhutan. The region covers an area of 1,807 square kilometers and cut by high mountain ranges to hardly reach. Monpas originally live on hunter-nature in the forests and animistic spiritual traditions’ unique fabric woven Pagay is the used for the dress.
Bumthang is the administrative and holy place of the Kingdom. It is typically a wide range of beautiful valleys in this regions and it attracts most traveler to Bhutan abroad. This region normally arise from 2400 to 6000 meters above the sea level and Ura stands at an elevation 3,100 meters is considered to be highest area.
Eastern Bhutan
Eastern Bhutan includes Trashi Yangtse, Tashi Gang, Samdrup Jungkhar, Pema Gatsel and Mongar, Lhuntse.
All these places are arising from 200 to – 5400 meters above sea level. Mongar is the highest area in eastern Bhutan and the second largest city with a population of of 37,069. Lhuntse and Trashi Gang are isolated districts where you can visit religious sacred sites with amazing landscape and river gorges. Western Bhutan
Western Bhutan includes destinations of Wangdye Phodang, Thimphu, Punakha, Paro, Haa, Gasa and Chhukha.
Thimphu is the capital city of Bhutan with a total area of about 1,809 square kilometers. It is main key factor of Bhutan tourism with monasteries, dzongs, museums and the National Library etc. Western Bhutan is the most modernized comparing to other regions. Destinations like Punakha, Paro and Gasa offer a great trekking spot in Bhutan.

Travel Destinations in Southern Bhutan
Southern Bhutan destination includes Tsirang, Sarphang, Samtse and Dagana.
Southern Bhutan lies to the border of India to West Bengal and Sikkim from Samtse. The region is forestry zone with hardy trees like champs, Augury,Chirpine, and Sal abound. Sarbhang has Wild animal Manas National Park and terrain ranges from 200 meters to 3,600 meter above sea level. The district center is the town of Sarbhang Tar, which further administers the two Dungkhags of Gelephu and Lhamoizhingkha.
