You will be accompanied by an experienced trek leader along with assistant guides (for a big group). Our experienced guides will introduce you to the rich local Sherpa culture and the surrounding mountains. We operate our treks based on safety, respect for the local culture, and fair working conditions.

Everest Base Camp Trekking starts and ends in Kathmandu.Take on the adventure of a lifetime trekking in Nepal to reach Everest Base camp; first touched by Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary in 1953. The trek itself takes a total of 12 days. Although, we suggest you plan for at least 15/16 days for your trip to Everest Base Camp, including time spent in Kathmandu. Planning for a few extra days will help you to accommodate any unforeseen changes or situations that may come up.

During this trek, you will experience not only the flight to Lukla, but have a chance to explore the mountains and valleys around Everest’s towering peaks. You’ll also have plenty of time to spend in tea houses learing about the culture and traditions of the famous Sherpa while you explore historic Kathmandu. Check all our Nepal tours >here.
